While global freelancing platforms offers a really wide market of freelancers from the different spheres, the Growth Collective allows companies to receive the quick and accurate matches with marketing professionals.
Client & Challenge
The product focus was to create a platform that didn’t exist in the market, one that could easily connect seasoned freelancers with trusted clients, making the overall process quick, efficient, and automated. Additionally, the platform needed to provide stable and accurate white hat services and support, ensuring the safest way of connecting freelancers and clients. When Legion, the creators of Growth Collective, approached Gecko Dynamics as a reliable technical partner to implement a top-notch version of the platform, Growth Collective was in the very early stage of development. The project started with a no-code and low-code architecture, and a manually updated database of about 1,000 freelancers. The main challenge in this project was to transform the existing multiple architectural solutions with scalability issues into the stable and resistant product.
Solution
After gathering the requirements and understanding the expected platform features and behavior, the Gecko Dynamics team provided the client with a list of recommended changes. Following a series of workshops, our team began transforming outdated solutions and building brand-new platform modules. While all the requested modules were successfully released, our team also completed a project migration to the new platform to ensure a smooth transition for customers.
